Use your “Negative” Emotions in a Positive Way: Though the phrase “Don’t get mad, get even” is rather humorous, it’s the exact opposite of the goal of your development. Instead of being angry and “stewing” in it, focus on what you can adjust to take positive action. Analyze the situation; it is likely that you could ignore or leave the negative situation. If you cannot leave or avoid negativity, focus on what you can do to adjust or accept the situation. Forgiveness is an exceptional way of developing Emotional Maturity.
